This week has been a bit hectic so far, sorting out subjects, and who is in what group for all those subjects. but so far i think im pretty well sorted for this one. Ryan and i talked about this subject before hand and found out that we were looking at doing the same sort of project, seeing as we know each other well we can work together well on this one and we will stick together.
We have also been placed in a group with Brad, who til this point i havent met before, but after talking with him he is obviously a smart and motivated person. he seems to lack a bit of IT skill and knowledge, but im sure he will be able to contribute enough. it will be interesting to see how this works out as the project comes along.
I am excited about this subject so far, the idea of being able to go nuts on pretty much anything is pretty exciting. I have been considering the internet and business/commerce internet a good career path, so to be able to extend my skills in this area is a great opportunity.
because of this, i intend on working on a lot of the technical side. this will allow me to learn new technologies, ones that can be used out in the ‘real world’. if i can pick up any new skills that can go on my resume, ones that not everyone will have, then this will be a very successful subject for me. i know its going to be a great challenge, but all in all, im pretty excited about the weeks ahead.
